Caring for You in the New Normal – What to Expect at Your Next Appointment

It’s finally that time! We’re so happy to announce that Tulip, the best salon in Fredericksburg, VA, will be reopening our doors on May 27th. We’ve changed a few things since the last time you’ve seen us, but it’s all for the protection of our guests and our community. Read on to see some of the policies you can expect at your next visit with us at Tulip Salon & Spa!

What to expect at your appointment:

All guests and staff are required to wear masks when inside Tulip Salon & Spa. If you do not have one, we will have some available for purchase. We kindly ask that guests remain in their car upon arrival and check-in for their appointment via phone (540.785.4004). Once your stylist is ready, we’ll let you know, and you can enter the salon.

Before entering the salon, all guests and staff are required to have temperature readings to ensure everyone stays healthy. Please only bring necessary belongings (payment method, phone, etc.) into the building with you to reduce the risk of spreading germs. At this time, we are unable to accommodate extra guests unless they have an appointment as well, so please show up for your appointment alone and on time. Additionally, we have temporarily discontinued cash transactions and will only be accepting credit card payments.

Suspended Rituals:

For the time being, we’ve had to temporarily suspend some of our rituals, including our Aroma Therapy, Hand Relief, Scalp, Neck, and Shoulder massage rituals. We also have temporarily discontinued offering beverages. 

CDC Guidelines:

Per CDC guidelines, Tulip will not be able to provide services to any customer who has had a fever or any other symptoms consistent with COVID-19 in the past 72 hours. We also will not be able to serve anyone who has had a temperature exceeding 100.3 or has been in contact with any individual who has fever or symptoms consistent with COVID-19 in the past 14 days. If you booked an appointment and feel unwell, or have been around someone who is sick, we ask that you contact the salon so we can reschedule your appointment. We’re more than happy to make any accommodations as needed!

So there you have it — our new normal, for now! We appreciate all of your patience, support, and thoughts you’ve sent our way over the last few weeks. We are anxious to return to all of our normal Tulip Salon & Spa routines, but we must comply with CDC protocols to protect the health of all of you — our TOP priority.
